A master teacher, Lisa brings her wealth of experience and wisdom to her students, their parents, and her peers. She is an inspired educator and a skillful consultant, rich in knowledge and insight. Her belief that children are naturally curious and interested in learning, matched with her remarkable ability to communicate effectively with adults, permeates her work and renders her a vital asset to the business of early childhood education.
Lisa Wells walked me through two of my most challenging parenting moments, one was academic and one was a social/emotional issue. Lisa was my son’s teacher at the time and she took the time (a lot of time) to not only walk me through what my child was experiencing, but gave me strategies to try at home. Many teachers talk about partnering with parents, but Lisa truly did this – going beyond her classroom responsibilities to make sure my son’s needs were met both in the classroom and at home.
This was five years ago, and I have turned to Lisa’s advice and wisdom ever since. Her blog delivers the most practical advice and insight into our children’s minds and thoughts; I look forward to each posting.
